Volunteer Services

A service of the Social Services Department

Volunteer Services recruits, screens and places volunteers within the Broward County Health Department and with our community partners.

Mobile and stationary clinics receive sovereign immunity coverage via contracts with the Department to treat indigent residents of Broward County. Licensed medical and dental professionals who volunteer may receive continuing education credits (CEUs) and/or waiver of professional license renewal fees.
