Nutrition and Fitness: Kids
Growing Healthy KidsA partnership between Holy Cross Hospital and the Archdiocese of Miami funded by Health Foundation of South Florida. The goal of Growing Healthy Kids is to improve nutrition in five parochial schools in Broward County. This will be achieved by planting vegetable gardens at the schools, providing the teachers from grades K - 3rd with a wellness curriculum and conducting workshops for teachers, parents and food service professionals.
