The Environmental Engineering Section (EES) of the Broward County Health
Department has responsibility for all regulatory activities pertaining to the
permitting, inspection, monitoring, and enforcement of all public drinking water
facilities serving Broward County. This includes the review and processing of
engineering project documents for the construction of proposed water supply,
treatment, and distribution facilities, performing periodic field inspections of
all water treatment plants, and reviewing all plant operation reports and
laboratory analysis reports for compliance to recognized standards. Water Main Extension Construction Permit (General Permit)
